Shipping & Returns

  

 If you aren’t 100% happy with any item, simply return it!

 

Time Frame: Items must be received back to our warehouse no later than 30 days from the date you placed your order. Be sure to plan 5-10 days for transit time. Items must be mailed back (post marked) within the next two days after return approval. Items received with a postmark date past the mail back deadline may be refused and returned to sender. 

 

The Catch: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition, and have all tags attached; this includes make-up and deodorant stains from trying clothes on. Shoe boxes are an important part of the product presentation and must be returned undamaged, along with the shoes.Please take care when trying on items; items damaged during try on will not be accepted for exchange.  

Please note that if there is any perfume, smoke, or any other odors on the returned item it will not be accepted and will be returned to you as we will be unable to issue an exchange or store credit. 

 

The Exceptions: Items in the "Sale" section, anything discounted 25% or more, jewelry, scarves, belts, socks, hair accessories, and undergarments are final and cannot be returned. Shoes returned using the shoebox as a shipping container are not permitted and will be shipped back to you at your expense.  

 

Defective Items: If you believe you received a defective item you must notify us by email through your account within three days of the delivery confirmation date, otherwise it is considered wear and tear. 

 

Refund Type: In-store credit only. Returns sent in that do not meet the above criteria are subject to a 30% restocking fee, which will be deducted from an issued credit. Please allow 10 business days to credit your Something For Me & Something For You  account from the date we receive your return. However, do not wait on us to use your in-store credit--see "Exchanges" below. The costs associated with shipping items back for exchange/store credit/new order are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

 

Overview: Returns sent in that do not meet the above criteria are subject to a 30% restocking fee, which will be deducted from an issued credit. We strongly advise you to use a traceable shipping method to protect and ensure your returned items reach us. We are not liable for lost returns. Packages sent back beyond the indicated postmark date will be refused and returned to sender (all cost associated with such actions will be the sole responsibility of the buyer).

 

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN

 

  1. Login to your account
  2. Select “Completed Orders”
  3. Select “Return Item” link underneath the order status of the order that you are requesting a return for
  4. Select “Qty. To Return”
  5. Select “Return Reason”
  6. Select “Return Action”
  7. “Comment” if there’s something we should know.
  8. Please allow 1-3 days for a response email with our return instructions, but don't wait on us to start shopping--see "Exchanges" below. 

 

 

 

****Tracking numbers are recommended when shipping back your returns; we are not responsible for any packages lost or damaged in transit. Shipping is non-refundable, unless of course we made a shipping mistake.****

 

EXCHANGES

 

  • We can’t guarantee an item will be in stock by the time we receive your return. As a result, we recommend you purchase whatever else you like right away, and we will refund your credit card when we receive your returns up to the amount of the new purchase.

 

  • If you have made a second purchase and would like to be refunded to your credit card, please mention this in the comment section of your return, otherwise we might inadvertently credit your Something For Me & Something For You account instead of your credit card

 

Store Credit Terms:

 

Issued store credits are redeemable at www.somethingforme-you.com only. Please treat codes like cash. Something For Me & Something For You is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplace codes. The code is good for one time use and must be used in its entirety before the inclusion of shipping and handling costs. Store credit cannot be used in conjunction with a discount or coupon code. This code is not redeemable for cash, able to be transferred, or the amount negotiable. All purchases made with a store credit are final.
